Learn with Charissa!
Charissa has led workshops and classes at ukulele festivals, schools, camps, and after-school programs across the country. She's also taught hundreds of private lessons, both in-person at studios and homes, and virtually across seven time zones. She has experience working with all ages and learning abilities, including students with AD/HD, autism, Down syndrome, and short-term memory loss. Regardless of age, ability, or musical background, she believes lessons are a space for students to learn and thrive. She's currently teaching in-person at Fanny's House of Music, or virtually via Zoom.
PRIVATE LESSONS- Individualized instruction on baritone, tenor, concert, or soprano ukulele. Recommended for beginner, intermediate, or advanced students; lessons cover everything from simple strumming to instrumental fingerstyle pieces and improvisation, along with music theory. A great way to study ukulele seriously, or simply to begin your musical journey on a fretted instrument.
GROUP CLASSES- Charissa is frequently contracted to teach in various school, after-school, camp, and Outschool settings; please email with teaching inquiries.
